+Without regret or disdain, after discussion with other board members,
+I can tell you that we are not interested in joining this workgroup.

+- Mageia would have been the ideal collaboration hub for such an
+entity, to join and grow, precisely to play such a role; but it did
+not happen, probably because our governance rules don't fit
+[Mandriva's] Supervisory Board; so be it. We will not walk another
+road, this very governance has been defined as it is for very specific
+reasons.

+- we spent a lot of time, energy, conversations, to define Mageia on
+several levels. And we went on producing stuff, and regularly put
+things back to work.
+
+- we don't have much information about trends behind the future
+entity, what are the goals of each of the potential participants. Ours
+are public and clear since day 1.

+- we don't have the means (neither the wish) to disperse further our
+(small) means on a new thing to define and build, we think our
+priorities are elsewhere at this point.

+- this won't prevent each of us to collaborate, since our tools and
+technos will be Free Software.
